Motorcycles, Scooters, and the Week in Auto Accidents

There were a number of auto accidents in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area in recent news. Crashes involved everything from motorcycles to motorized scooters. When it comes to auto accidents, it’s imperative that you have the proper legal representation. Otherwise, you could find yourself in financial hardship that lasts generations. Consider a recent article for the Sun Sentinel titled “Motorcyclist hospitalized after slamming into car.”
Rebeca Piccardo of the Sun Sentinel writes, “A man riding his motorcycle along South Federal Highway ended up in the hospital after colliding with a car Friday afternoon. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue posted a photo on Twitter, showing the man’s torn-up bike with half of the handlebar shattered into pieces from the impact along the 2200 block of South Federal Highway. The unidentified man, who suffered critical injuries, was taken to Broward Health Medical Center, said Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Capt. Greg May.”
The Sun Sentinel also examines another auto accident in a recent article titled “Scooter rider injured in Lauderdale crash.” Linda Trischitta of the Sun Sentinel writes, “A man driving a scooter Monday was injured after colliding with a car in Fort Lauderdale, a rescue official said. The scooter driver was awake and stable after the 11:30 a.m. crash at Miami Road and Southeast 17th Street, and was taken to Broward Health Medical Center for treatment, Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue Capt. Gregory May said. In a photograph supplied by the agency, the gray, black and red scooter was shown lying on its side along the curb.”
