Officer Involved in Miami Car Crash

car-831928_1920Driving often requires vigilance. No matter how careful you are, you have to be on your toes in the event that a less careful driver could put you in danger. Sometimes even the best defensive drivers can’t prevent a car crash. This is especially true on the roads of Miami. Even police officers find themselves in far too many auto accidents. Consider a recent article for WSVN titled “Officials investigate police-involved crash.”

According to the author of the article, “Officials are investigating a police cruiser involved crash in West Miami-Dade that left one officer injured. The traffic accident happened along Northwest 138th Street and Okeechobee Road, at around 6:15 a.m., Thursday. A black civilian car was involved, but at this time it is unknown how the accident happened or who was at fault. SkyforceHD flew over the scene, where the police cruiser could be seen smashed into a barrier wall. The officer has been identified as James Boone. He has been with the department for 23 years and is assigned to the Airport K-9 Unit. Boone was airlifted to Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he is now recovering. Both him and the civilian involved in the crash sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to make a full recovery. Officials said the dog was in the car at the time of the accident, but he is OK.”

However, with the proper legal representation, you can prevent yourself from suffering further injuries and/or damages as a result of not being compensated for the damages from the current accident.
